Your school may be using Amplify, Eureka, Carnegie, HMH, and District Curriculum alligned Assessments and Exit Tickets. Watch the video or follow the steps below to easily find and activate these assessments.
How to Use Curriculum Aligned Assessments
- Click Lessons/Assessments>Curricula.
- Click on the publisher (Eureka, Amplify, HMH, your district's added content, etc).
- Select a grade
- For the unit, module, or topic, click the green button to see available assessments (expanded under the unit section).
- Optional: Click Preview to see the student view of the assessment in another tab.
- Optional: Click Actions > Print to view or print the answer key and questions.
- Click Activate > Post to Student Portal
- Select classes and click Start for Selected Classes.

Choose your desired settings. Settings to note:
- Text to Speech - If a student's administrative IEP 504 demographic is not set, you can make text to speech available for anyone, temporarily.
- Security Setting: "Kick students out if they leave the assessment screen" requires teacher assistance to let students back in, even for accidental clicks outside of the browser tab.
- Click Next > Activate
- Click the green class title.
- If needed, click the hand next to student names to manually grade.
- Click End Session to create a Report.
Important Notes About the Grading Screen
- Students in green indicate they clicked I'm Finished.
- Students in red indicate questions need teacher attention. Click the hand icon next to the student name.
- Teachers are blocked from the manually grading screen (clicking the hand) until a student clicks I'm Finished. You can manually end a student's assessment, however, they won't be able to launch it again.
- Click Leave Session Active to return grading where you left off another time.
Alternative ways to enter the grading screen:
- Click Quick Links>Active Session and select the assessment title.
- View the Active Sessions on the home screen and click Activate>Post to Student Portal
