Teachers assigned with the same class in a third-party sync, such as Clever or PowerSchool, will both see the same active session in their individual accounts for collaborative grading, intervention, and data analysis.
Shared Grading
To open the grading screen:
- Go to your teacher dashboard (home) by clicking the tab on the left
- Look under Assessments in Progress.
- The session will appear in both teachers’ accounts, no matter which co-teacher activates it.
- However, the activation indicator (or badge) will only be in the assessment list of the teacher who launched the activation.
- Click View/Edit
- When you are done grading, click Leave Session Active, so your coteacher can grade at a later time.
Use Case Examples:
- One teacher provides feedback for a student essay. The second teacher adds their own feedback.
- One teacher grades the first 10 questions. The second teacher grades the last 10 questions.
Important note:
Only one teacher can be in the grading screen at a time.
If Teacher A is currently grading a session, and Teacher B opens the grading screen for that same session, Teacher A will be automatically bumped out (similar to what happens if you open the same page on a different computer).
Shared Reports
To create a report
- Go to your teacher dashboard (home) by clicking the tab on the left
- Look under Assessments in Progress. The session will appear in both teachers’ accounts, even if only one co-teacher activates it.
- Click View/Edit
- Click End Session
- Optional: Add the report to a progress tracker.
Once a session is ended, both teachers have full access to the report and can re-activate if necessary.
If one session adds the report to a progress tracker, both teachers for the class are now included in the trackers.
Note on class management:
If either teacher updates the roster—such as changing student information or updating clicker numbers—the changes will automatically reflect in both accounts instantly.
