AI Question Assistant

The AI Question Assistant creates engaging, new question drafts that are fully integrated with ALL In Learning, based on standards, examples, or passages. The Question Assistant is conveniently located on the "Home" screen and in "My Assessments" when creating an assessment.

We advise you to look over each draft question before creating the assessment to ensure they are to your liking. Currently, we can only generate multiple-choice, short answer, or student work questions

There are three ways to use the Question Assistant:

1. Generate from standard
2. Generate from passage
3. Generate from example

Generate from standard

1. Click Lessons/Assessments>My Assessments>Create New>AI Question Assistant>Generate from standard.
2. Click the checkbox next to the standard, or standards, you would like to use.
3. When you are done, choose the criteria for the question (grade level, subject, language) and add any additional instructions for the AI.
4. Click Continue when you are done
5. Select the type of question and the number of questions for each standard
6. Click Generate drafts (It may take a minute or more to generate drafts based on the amount of questions)
7. Choose to keep, reject, or generate a new draft. 
8. When you are happy with all the questions, scroll down and click Save & edit drafts. An assessment will automatically be created from the questions

Generate from passage

1. You can either ask AI to generate a passage or add your own passage. If you want AI to create a passage, fill in the criteria, such as a description for the passage, the passage length, and the grade level.
2. Once you have a passage, click Continue
3. If needed, click the checkbox next to the standard, or standards, you would like to use.
4. When you are done, choose the criteria for the question (grade level, subject, language) and add any additional instructions for the AI.
5. Click Continue when you are done
6. Select the type of question and the number of questions you would like
7. Click Generate drafts (It may take a minute or more to generate drafts based on the amount of questions)
8. Choose to keep, reject, or generate a new draft. 
9. When you are happy with all the questions, scroll down and click Save & edit drafts. An assessment will automatically be created from the questions

Generate from example

1. Click Lessons/Assessments>My Assessments>Create New>AI Question Assistant>Generate from example
2. Click on the type of question you would like to create
3. If needed, click the checkbox next to the standard, or standards, you would like to use.
4. Click Continue when you are done
5. Fill out the information in the properties menu
6. Click Next
7. Create a question the AI can use as an example. You can also add a passage or standards with the buttons on the right.
8. When done, click Generate Questions on the bottom right
9. Choose the number of questions you would like generated
10. Click Generate Drafts.
